Trainer Pants

To make life a little easier during the dreaded potty training stage Friendly Baby now stock Mother-ease Trainer Pants. These are made to the same high standards as the Mother-ease nappies and accessories, but are worn like pants rather than a nappy. They are absorbent enough to cope with little accidents, but won't cope with the same treatment cloth nappies will - giving your child the incentive they need to remember to use the potty without making them panic if they don't quite make it on time.

Avoid the Royal Mail Strikes

The Royal Mail workers have decided to strike again. Two 48-hour strikes are planned. The first will begin at lunchtime on Thursday 4th October and ends at lunchtime on Saturday 6th October. The second will begin in the early hours of Monday 8th October, ending in the early hours of Wednesday 10th October. Whilst deliveries will recommence on Wednesday 10th October, it will take some time before normal service resumes.

In addition to this, it has also already been announced that this will be followed by an unspecified programme of weekly strikes, starting week commencing October 15th, until the resolution of the dispute.

All Mainland UK (excluding some parts of the Scottish Highlands) higher value orders and orders weighing over 2kg (4.4 lbs) will be sent using Parcel Force; this includes orders for OneLife Altogether Nappy Hamper Sets or Tots Bots Multipacks. Parcel Force are not participating in the Royal Mail strikes, so these orders will NOT be affected by the strikes and will arrive in good time. Hurrah for Parcel Force!

If you wish to know in advance if an order will be sent via Parcel Force or Royal Mail please contact us first.

Friendly Baby October Competition

Friendly Baby have teamed up with Juno Magazine for the Friendly Baby October Competition. This month we are offering you the chance to win one of THREE 10-Issue Subscriptions to Juno Magazine!

Why have we teamed up with Juno Magazine?

For anyone that has read Juno Magazine before, this will seem obvious; a magazine that shares many of the same values as Friendly Baby, in terms of eco and ethical ideas. However, it is so much more than that.

Their aim in setting up Juno was to create an alternative to the mainstream and a place where people can share ideas, information and experiences.

It is their aim to be non-preachy and non-dogmatic and to empower parents to follow their heart and do what is right for them and their child.

The editors are committed to being there for their kids and create the magazine from home (often with little helpers) - hence the magazine is published 3 times a year to work around the kids and term times.

Juno Magazine is clearly different from most magazines, with not only similar values as Friendly Baby, but also a magazine written by people like you for people like you. We think that is something special.

If that is not enough, in keeping with it's ethos Juno is printed on 100% recycled paper using vegetable-based inks. 10% of profits are donated to children's charities.

So to be in with a chance to win a 10-issue subscription to Juno Magazine head on over to our Competition page.
