- Nappy terminology explained!
What are all of these things?
What about all of the different nappy types?
What about the sizes?
With BIRTH TO POTTY or ONE SIZE nappies you only need to buy one set of nappies, although you will need wraps of different sizes. Generally, the waist is folded down to make the height of the nappy smaller for a newborn. This can result in the nappy seeming bulky on a newborn, and fitting clothes over the top can be awkward. It may mean your child needs the next size of trousers just to fit around their bottom.
With SIZED nappies you will need to buy more nappies as your child grows so is usually a bit more expensive. However, they are generally less bulky than a birth to potty nappy and may also fit your child better and allow your child's clothes to fit better too.
