Every so often a product comes along that is so simple and useful we all wish we'd thought of it - and had one for our own kids. Inspired by dads, designed by mums, the original organic 'Cuddledry™' baby bath towel is definitely one of them.

Cuddledry™ original organic baby towels are 'apron-style' to keep mum or dad dry, give parents both hands free to lift babies from the bath, and form a huge, incredibly cosy wrap to transfer babies straight into from warm bathwater. They use a unique double-layer system to draw water quickly from baby skin. They contain organic cotton and bamboo - the softest towelling possible - and make bathtime safe, simple and snug.

  • double-layer system to draw water rapidly away from baby skin and keep them genuinely cosy
  • apron-style design so both hands free when lifting baby from bath, and keeps you dry
  • adjustable neck size
  • one-handed release to remove towel from parent when baby laid down on change mat
  • bamboo and unbleached organic cotton towelling - one side fluffy absorbent layer, one side velvety soft fine grade cuddle layer
  • long and luxurious to completely cocoon baby, and quickly dry hair and body
  • fine towelling for ease of drying between fingers and toes, and skin creases
  • washable at 60°C

Every Cuddledry baby towel now carries the offer of a FREE liquid crystal bath thermometer for the new parent. All you have to do is register on Cuddledry's website and send proof of purchase, and a thermometer is sent out with instructions to help make bathtime safe and fun!

Instructions: fasten Cuddledry around neck, hold baby against chest, fold towel up and over, lay baby down and undo poppers.

"I will never bath my baby without it again! A very simple yet innovative idea. Baby all warm and snuggly and Mum relaxed and dry! I was bought this as a present following the birth of my second child. It is wonderful quality and the fabric is very soft and luxurious. I wish I had had this for me first baby. Bathtimes for new parents can be an anxious time but the cuddledry reassures parents that baby is safe and helps make bathtime the enjoyable experience that it should be. I would recommend it to all parents (particularly new parents) and to anyone who wants to buy a unique and practical present for a new baby. I have been using this product for six months. I first used this when my baby was about three weeks old." - Rebecca, South Gloucestershire (September 2009

"I'm afraid I wasn't very impressed with this product having read so much about I was very excited, while I admit it is excellent quailty it just doesn't work well. Its far too long and dips in the water and its really difficult to remove from your neck I end up with friction burns. Its a big price tag as I only use it as a standard hooded towel as its too long and the press studs are too stiff. I don't use the features that make it unique I wont be buying it again. I've been using the product for 4 months since the birth of my son who is now 4 months old. Ever now and again I also dry my eldest son who 3 with it." - Jane, Yorkshire (September 2009)

"It's very luxurious. I simply adored the funky cow print design it looked fab. It would look great hanging from any bathroom door. I pleased until actually using it. Its large and with me at 5 ft I found it was far too long. I was very scared of tripping over it. Also its two layers means its very thick its a real pain getting it dry. The cuddledry apron has SINGLE-HANDED EASY RELEASE poppers or so they say. I feel like I'm going to get a friction burn on the back of my neck." - Jane, West Yorkshire (June 2009)

"Excellent quality (washes really well), soft and fluffy against baby's skin. Really practical and made bathtime easier with my little wriggler!" - Helen, Monmouthshire (March 2009)

"I started using the Cuddledry towel because I found bathtime really awkward because my baby can't yet sit up so I always have to be holding her while I sort out her towels and bath bits and pieces. I put on and arrange the cuddledry towel before we start so when we're finished there's no messing about with slippery dripping baby getting cold." - Caroline, West Midlands (February 2009)

"The Cuddledry baby bath towels are brilliant. Having struggled with bathing my first child as a baby, when i had my second i was determined to get hold of a couple of these and they have been as good as I'd hoped. I always used to have to change my wet clothes after bathing my baby, but now I stay completely dry and my tot feels warm, secure and dry as soon as she's out of the water. Much fewer tears all round!!!" - Pippa, Northants (September 2008)

"When I was given one of these I thought it was rather gimmicky, as I had managed perfectly well with an ordinary towel for my first child. But they genuinely do make bathtime easier - gone are the days of gripping a towel between my teeth while I reach for a wet and wriggly baby! I've also found it has stayed remarkably soft - much softer than our other towels, although they all get washed and dried in the same way. " - Marianne, Somerset (August 2008)

"The towel was a present from a friend when my baby was born. It's so lovely, I wish I could use it myself as well. It is very soft still after many washes, and baby loves it." - Priscilla, Cambridgeshire (October 2007)

"This product is lovely for babies and mums: drying baby while keeping them warm and helping mum as it makes bathtime a pleasure. Soft and comfortable and washes up well" - Yvonne, Devon (June 2007)

"Whilst this bath towel seems expensive at first glance, let me assure you it is worth every penny. Mine has survived countless hot washes, accidents, being chewed and is still going strong. It is absolutely ingenious. It enables you to lift the baby safely and confidently with both hands into a gorgeously soft and snug wrap. It wicks the initial wetness away from baby's skin, giving you the opportunity to have a post-bath snuggle, in the comfortable knowledge that your little one isn't getting cold. Grandma used ours whilst babysitting and all she could say was that she wished they'd been around when I was born. Well worth the initial expense, durable, lasts for ever and doesn't need replacing like ordinary towels do." - Beverley, Derbyshire (April 2007)
