Competition terms & conditions

1. The Competition is open to all UK residents except employees of Friendly Baby Ltd, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Competition.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Closing date for receipt of entries is midnight on the last day of the month.
4. Entry must be made using an email sent to competition@friendlybaby.co.uk. Entrant should state his / her name, email address, postal address and the Entrant's product review.
5. No entrant may win more than one prize. One product review or suggestion per entry. No entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will be accepted. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
6. The Entrant's product review should be the Entrant's own work and shall be original and shall not have been previously published or exploited in any part and will not infringe any copyright, right of privacy, right of publicity or personality or any other right whatsoever of any third party. You hereby agree not to send to Friendly Baby Ltd any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic or other material that would violate any law. You shall be the sole author of the product review. You shall indemnify and hold Friendly Baby Ltd harmless from any claims, actions, proceedings, costs and expenses arising as a result of any allegation that you did not own or is not wholly entitled and authorised to allow publication and reproduction of the review by the Promoter.
7. The product review should state the precise product reviewed and should be a product sold on this site, or a product you would like to see on this site.
8. An independent judge will select the winner(s) at random.
9. The decision of the independent judge is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Friendly Baby Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternatives of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.
10. The Winner will be notified by telephone, or email within 14 days of the Closing Date.
11. The Winner's details (name and county) will be made available on request to those enclosing a stamped SAE to Competition Winner at our registered office within ten weeks of the closing date.
12. The Winner hereby assigns all rights including without limitation copyright, trade marks, design rights and any other rights (whether registered or unregistered) in the Entrant's product review whether now known or created in the future to Friendly Baby Ltd. The Promoter hereby agrees to use the product review for Friendly Baby Ltd related activity and will accredit the Entrant as the author if possible.
13. Entries will become the property of Friendly Baby Ltd.
14. By entering the Competition, the Entrants are deemed to accept and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Customer Services department of Friendly Baby Ltd for the purposes of the administration of this Competition and any other purposes to which the Entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
15. If the Entrant does not wish to be added to the emailing lists of Friendly Baby or the prize donor then a separate email should be sent to customerservice@friendlybaby.co.uk with REMOVE in the subject.
16. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
