We Say: Very thick and soft, so feel ultra-luxurious. Dry really quickly and you can change the fold to suit. Versatile, cheap and easy to dry. Particularly good for newborns as they can be folded in many different ways to suit and are less bulky than many nappies.

"Traditional terry nappies can be used for any size baby, or to mop up sick and dribbles, then can be reused as a cloth or hand towel as child stops wearing nappies." - Heather, Herefordshire (September 2008)

"It is probably a little odd to feel passionate about terry squares, but once you use them, you'll understand how handy these little cloth squares can be. As a practical and cheap solution for newborn nappies Little Ewe terries have to be considered. In the early months these were all I used. OK they need a little more preparation than shaped nappies, but this is easy to master and once you have found a fold you like, I guarantee you will be looking for an audience at every nappy change to showcase your new found skill. For the older toddler Little Ewe squares are super absorbant boosters for a night time nappy (when bulkiness isn't a problem). However, do not limit your Little Ewe squares to nappy duties only - they make great changing mats, spit clothes and emergency towels. My son in now 2 and I still don't leave the house without a terry square." - Joanne, Renfrewshire (May 2008)

"These are one of the most absorbant unbleached cotton terry squares on the market, much more absorbant than high street brands. I found them easy to fold, we liked the kite fold and they were easily closed with a nippa. Although sometimes bulky for newborns they fit under most wraps. I even used them as burp cloths in an emergency when I ran out of muslins." - Kim, Kent (May 2007)
