The Sandy's™ Nappy comes in two sizes: small for the newborn, and large, starting at 20 lbs. These nappies are made from soft stretchy terry cloth using a high quality of workmanship, but they have an extra layer of absorbent cotton sewn to the inside of the nappy. The fit of the nappy is slightly roomier. Elastic at the waist front and back as well as the leg openings, together with the snap closures at the sides create a clean pant-like look. A serged edge finishes the nappy. The large Sandy's™ is one of the most absorbent nappies ever, and holds 15 oz. When used together with the Sandy's™ Nappy Liner it makes an extravagant nighttime nappy.

We Say: This nappy fits most babies well so is great for a nappy novice. The design is so simple that it is even possible to put it on a standing toddler! It is one of the most comfortable nappies due to being small and thin. The quality withstands a lot of wear and tear and should easily last several babies. There is no stay-dry layer and may require boosting. Despite the slimness of this nappy it does take a long time to dry.

You Say:
"Sandys were my favourite of the (many) cloth nappies that we tried on our children. They fitted and contained well from 6 months right up to 3 years, and were hard wearing lasting through 2 children and being passed on to a friend for her baby! Many of the nappy combos we tried did not cope well with heavier wetting as they got older but the Sandys was great. Even without a tumble dryer they still dried out quickly enough unlike some of the all-in-ones we had and didn't go 'crunchy'. I only wish they had the organic version available when my children were babies." - Sadie, West Midlands (October 2007)
"Motherease sandy nappies are brilliant for newborns, they have a great fit and are good for containing poo. Wash beautifully and stay quite soft in hard water. Easy to put on because of the poppered sides. Also absorbant enough for nights. A very reliable nappy and brand." - Kim, Kent (August 2007)
