Nature's ideal fabric is soft and absorbent cotton combed terry shaped to give a perfect fit for every baby. This one size washable nappy has poppers for adjusting the size as your baby grows.
Fabric: Cotton
Fastening: Popper
Sizes: Fits birth to potty (due to natural variations in babies size cannot be guaranteed)
We Say: Easy to use, easy to wash and quick drying, but do need boosting - especially at night. As with all birth to potty nappies it can look very bulky on a newborn, however once the baby weighs around 10lbs this problem is overcome by leaving the waistband unfolded.

"I bought the One Life nappies as I was hoping they would last from birth to potty as advertised. However, my 8 month old 50-75th centile baby boy is close to growing out of them (the cloth inner at least). I find it impossible to believe that they will last until potty training or even close to that. Absorbancy is also a problem as I need to change once an hour at most, even with the booster, as my baby is not happy being left wet so they have ended up being very time consuming. I haven't tried any other reusable nappies so have nothing to compare them too, but I have been disappointed with the performance." - Erica, West Midlands (November 2007) [We say: Babies are at their widest between 8 months and 12 months on average, therefore it often seems that they are going to outgrow their nappies at this stage, but then they slim down as they start walking and moving more and you will probably find that you have to start using the other poppers to make the nappy fit more snuggly. Some children don't like being wet; this is usually one of the benefits of cloth nappies as it means that they are eager to potty train much sooner than their disposable nappy counterparts. Obviously 8 months is a bit young to start potty training, but many children successfully potty train as young as 12 months. Perhaps you could try using fleece liners inside the nappy. These work much better at wicking the moisture through the liner and away from the baby's skin, and may mean that you wouldn't have to change the nappy so often. The booster is really aimed at absorbing vast amounts of urine, and isn't necessarily aimed at keeping their skin dry. If boosting is an issue (overnight one booster sometimes isn't sufficient from around this age), then you can place a second booster between the nappy and the wrap. This means that the nappy isn't too tight but the boosters are still able to do their job and absorb any moisture.]
"Well having two babies within in year, is not only hard work but expensive. I started off buying disposable nappies for my eldest (now 2 years old) but when my youngest son came along 11 months later I decided that I had to invest in reusable nappies, I was already doing plenty of washing as it was so they made hardly any difference at all. Onelife nappies were fantastic, in fact I invested in a hamper pack which included everything I could ever need! The waterproof nappies covers have been a lifesaver whilst trying to potty train my eldest, the nappies hardly ever leaked and fitted superbly, with the added comfort of cotton that disposable nappies don't give! Its also a great feeling that we are doing our bit for the environment too and they take little getting used to and Id never switch back now. They really are a great nappy to last the duration of baby to toddler (in my case for two babies at the moment!)" - Anna, North Yorkshire (July 2007)
