- Comfortable, silky soft nappy made from the finest East Asian Bamboo
- Naturally antibacterial
- Tests have shown bamboo fibre to be up to 60% more absorbent than cotton and that it dries up to 20% faster (the bamboo nappy does not dry faster than the cotton nappy due to the increased weight of the fabric and its higher absorbency. If you want a fast drying nappy the Fluffle would be your best option).
- Bamboo is a highly eco-friendly material which grows naturally without the need for chemical pesticides or fertilisers. It has a very short growth cycle, is easily cultivated and is totally bio-degradable
- Size 1 popper version will fit from 5lbs & size 2 from 10lbs
Fabric: Bamboo
Fastening: Aplix / Popper
Sizes: Size 1 fits 8-18lbs; Size 2 fits 18-35lbs, Size 3 fits 35lbs+
We Say: The softest, silkiest nappy by far...and it stays that way even after washing. Fantastic combination of slim fitting and excellent absorbency, although does take a long time to dry. All of this and environmentally friendly too!

"When I first purchased my reusable nappies I bought a selection of different types as I found it difficult to decide which nappies to go for. As they are expensive in the outset I didn't want to buy one type then realise I had made a mistake. I bought both the popper and the Velcro Bamboozle nappy. The great thing with the popper nappy is I could use the larger size on my baby straight away by folding down the top, which you cannot adjust on the Velcro. As I had a large baby it meant you could skip the smaller size with the popper version. Although smaller newborn babies I don't think could get away with this. The great thing about the popper bamboozle is you adjust the waist as they grow and it feels very secure and nips in at the waist. The downside to the Velcro nappies is the Velcro after a few washes loses its 'stick' and for some reason it feels more bulky around the waistline than the popper. If I was buying again I would just stick to the popper version." - Sam, Wiltshire (July 2008)
"Bamboozles are the best nappy I've used, and I've tried many! They stay soft, retain their shape, are super absorbant and require no soaking or special treatment. I put mine in for a rinse at 60 then put the rest of babies washing in and wash it all at 40 with no problems. That way I can get by with just 8 nappies - because they are expensive! I use size 2 aplix on my newborn with the front folded down and a nappi nippa, they're bulky on him but not drastic and it means I don't have to buy more as he grows." - Jennifer, Renfrewshire (August 2007) [ We Say: Tots Bots withdrew the Nappi Nippa version of the Bamboozle from the market as it was found that the Nippa does not grip adequately to this fabric. It can work in some circumstances, but is not something that we recommend as Nappi Nippas can cause deep scratches if they come undone. ]
"These are my first choice for daytime nappies; stays soft wash after wash. Very slim - which is exactly what I wanted from a daytime nappy. The unbleached bamboozles look really cute, especially in size 1. At the moment i have only one coloured bamboozle which is in aqua. Its my little girl’s favourite nappy and after being used for a couple of months now it is still vibrant blue. You can definately tell that the nappy has been washed but i am amazed at how well the colour has held up. The coloured one seems even trimmer still but that is maybe down to my imagination. Bamboozles are really absorbent; I have successfully used, during the day and night, unboosted. The next time I get some I will be investing in the popper version, as the aplix is definately becoming less sticky and some of my bamboozles have barely been broken in yet. Apart from that I have no complaints, they are much slower to dry than other nappies but bamboo is a more absorbent fabric. They are also naturally antibacterial and my daughter's sensitive bottom (she has eczema) has had no adverse affects." - Sahra, Moray (June 2007)
