Mother-ease offer an extraordinary Velcro® wrap. The Aplix® hook and loop fasteners are of the highest quality and covered on the inside by a small skirt to prevent the leakage so common to other wraps. The fabric is the same as the Air Flow™ popper cover. It fits snuggly over Mother-ease Sandy's™ or One Size™ nappies. It is so easy to use. Gussetted leg openings ensure a snug fit. The elastic edges are covered with a superior nylon binding which helps prevent moisture from wicking onto baby's clothes.
*4 wrap selection pack usually consists of 1 plain and 3 different eco print wraps (selected at random). 'Boy' means that you will not receive pink, 'Girl' means that you will not receive blue, and 'Unisex' means that you will not receive either blue or pink. Please note that, for example, selecting 'girl' does not necessarily mean that you will receive pink. If you have a particular preference over colours / prints we will try to fulfill your requests, though with the selection pack this is not always possible; please tell us your prefences in the comments box at checkout.
We Say: Brilliant wrap for containment and the fit is good, however the binding does leave red marks on some baby's skin.

"I've been using these wraps for around 20 months. I have tried a few different types of wrap and I think Mother-ease are by far the best. I also find the velcro/aplex fastening better than the popper fastening for during the day. I think that's because of the gusset at each leg which is better at preventing leaks now my toddler is running round so much. I have had to buy lots more wraps than originally thought I would though because it's really important to get the right size and I have found that they lose some of their water-proofness the longer they are used. All things considered, I would recommend this product over others in the market." - Susan, Edinburgh (June 2010) [We Say: This sounds slightly mad but does work! Try washing them with a good dose of fabric softener in the wash as this helps to aid the effectiveness of the waterproof fabric. Please don't do this when your nappies are in the wash too as this will adversely affect the absorbency of them.]
"For any Mum needing advice on using real nappies - the Mother-ease wraps are by far the most effective way of keeping your child protected from nappy rash and also keeping all their contents firmly in place. The first few months I struggled and nearly gave up purely from frustration with leaks. I have never experienced any trouble with Mother ease wraps. They wash well and you only need four to keep you going. I wish someone had told me about them from the start!" - Jo, Tyne and Wear (June 2009)
"These wraps are completely amazing! My little boy is 4 months old and even when he does that delightful yellow explosion in his nappy, they NEVER leak! They're so easy to use (I find velcro so much easier and less fiddly than poppers) and they come in gorgeous prints. I also use them for swimming with a small terry inside. Also it has to be said that since I stopped using disposables, he has never had nappy rash - yay! I love them and will use them for all my future children." - Carina, Cheshire (May 2008)
[ We Say: Friendly Baby does not promote the use of these wraps for swimming. We believe proper swim nappies should be used when swimming as the risk of leaks is too great otherwise.]
"I have used these for both my children, and have found them the most reliable and versatile of wraps. They work perfectly with both terries and shaped nappies, as you can refine the fit by playing with the position of the velcro (point the closing tape upwards for a tighter fit or for a slim leg, point it downwards for a looser fit or for a chunky thigh)." - Marianne, Somerset (January 2008)
"These are colourful, fun and don’t leak. I would recommend these to anyone." - Kirsty, Cambridgeshire (August 2007)
"I have been using these wraps on my son who is now 3 mths old. They have been very versatile and suit being worn over a huge range of nappies including prefolds, terries and shaped nappies. I have even used these over a muslin with a booster and because of the design and adjustment of the velcro you can get a good snug fit on a huge variety of nappies. A great all round wrap which is really easy to use if it's your first time trying cloth nappies." - Naomi, Surrey (June 2007)
